At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’. Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is situated in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, a charming and historic town in the Kent countryside. Converted from a Grade II-listed mansion, the hotel is one of this beautiful spa town's architectural landmarks, with authentic Georgian period details.

Rooms are spacious and old worldly. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and included. Dinner was ok. Wine was a bit expensive, I loved the cocktails and great deals during "happy hour"! We had a good time. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. We will stay at Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge wells again and would recommend it.

The bedrooms are small but comfortable. The shower is in the bath, which is a hassle for the elderly. The dining room is relaxed and informal. The food is good. The staff are polite and helpful. There is a comfortable bar and a lovely sitting room.

We came for afternoon tea as a belated Mothering Sunday treat and overall, it was a truly lovely experience. The building is beautiful and elegant and the service was first class. Great value for the tea, which had a huge number of sandwiches and sweets. Only the scones were a bit disappointing ... not really scones at all but more like cakes.
