The Breakfast menu is available till 11am between Monday and Saturday and features a range of Breakfast dishes. Some options include the smoked bacon eggs benedict, Traditional Full English, buttermilk pancakes and buttery breakfast pastries.

 The Red Lion’s Bottomless Brunch menu is served Monday to Saturday until 4pm, boasting a selection of breakfast dishes including eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes. Their Bottomless Brunch service comes with a selection of freshly produced sandwiches that use Mediterranean ingredients, including chorizo, calamari and mozzarella.

Sunday Lunch at the Red Lion has a selection of dishes with a main and roast menu available 12 till 21:00pm Sun – Thurs and 12 till 22:00 Fri - Sat. Their main menu includes a variety of different delectable dishes that use many different flavours and ingredients including fish and chips and braised lamb shoulder. The Red Lion’s Sunday roast menu includes different slow roasted joints for customers to enjoy including: a slow roasted sirloin, thyme roast chicken and porchetta with duck fat roast potatoes. Some of the Sunday menu sides include honey mustard chipolatas and cauliflower cheese.

The Red Lion Water End is located close to Great Gaddesden Parish Hall and is a 1.30hr walk from the Berkhamsted Station.

    This is a mid week breakfast experience - staff very polite and professional. Food was lovely, we had a full English and my husband had to finish mine off as it was very filling. Lovely quality meat and eggs cooked well.

    A really lovely pub, I really enjoyed my meal here the food was really good quality and the staff really friendly and lovely. Had a good experience and enjoyed ourselves in the pod it was very clean and comfy. Shared a starter which was the salmon very nice and fresh, tasty as well The pizza was lovely and the Lebanese fries And ice tea was good too. And followed by a Portuguese custard tart for dessert. I highly recommend this place was our first visit and would go again.

    I just had a great celebration at this place! Katie was an absolute gem, welcoming us with warmth and really getting into the spirit of our special occasion, which made a huge difference. The drinks were spot on and the atmosphere was lively, plus the Napoli Forte was delicious. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the service was quick and friendly. Can't wait to come back!
