Printing Press Bar and Kitchen is a prestigious bistro in the heart of Edinburgh with a modern take on Sunday Roast.
Printing Press gets its name from a long line of literary talent housed within its walls including Susan Ferrier, a contemporary of Jane Austen. They pay homage to the history of the place by retaining some of the Victorian architecture and grand entrance, though there have been modern updates to include bespoke chandeliers, soft leather upholstery and frosted glass partitions.
For £29.50 you can enjoy 3 courses of mouth-watering Scottish food, starting with hand-dived Orkney scallops or smoked haggis, followed by your choice of Tweed Valley striploin, pork or a veggie roast with all the trimmings. Desserts include crème brulee and bread and butter pudding. It’s also family-friendly with under 4’s dining for free and under 12’s for half price.
They also have a daily breakfast including a continental spread and cooked breakfasts from 7am – 11am.
