Had the pleasure to be invited at the Ivy. We had a private room downstairs as we had a party for 15 people. One full staff was allocated to the party. The service was very good. The food was excellent. I must acknowledge creativity and modernism for dessert and starters. Main courses were “old style”. Overall the food was as I expected. Staff professional and friendly as it should be in these type of situations. The location, the furnitures, very good taste in relation to decor. This is one of the best place offering an amazing experience in Dublin City centre

Two starters were not crunchy at all, all soggy & spicy 🌶️. The main courses beef was not tasted outstanding like Japanese beef, curry rice tasted like Thai & Indian food but salty. The dessert was too sweet to enjoy it😂. Kid burger was too salty & hard on beef burger , but the portion was big. We only liked the chips 🍟 in here. All the food were not fit my expectations. The Staff was friendly and attention the details .👍

We actually stumbled upon The Ivy while on a morning stroll. Decided to stop and try out their breakfast options. We both Decided to order Eggs Benedict. It was a classic presentation but had a great fresh taste. The food came very promptly. (I appreciate how the eggs benedict comes classic as many restaurants try to put a twist on the dish and always miss the mark). We enjoyed the vibe, atmosphere and service so much we Decided to return the next day for Dinner. The lady at the desk remembered us and managed to squeeze us in. I really appreciate how nice, kind and funny she was (wish I got her name)! Dinner was great, along with the wine and amazing service. After we paid for our food we decided to sit at the bar for cocktails. However, a venue this size only had 2 bartenders working so hard to smash out their tickets. The wait there kinda let us down and was annoying. The drinks were great when they finally came - but we didn't mind waiting too much as the had great banter with us and we appreciated how hard they were working. Was kinda great to watch them smash out so many drinks one after another. Would say to have more behind the bar so it runs smoother and people sitting at the bar don't feel less important than the tables (as that's how it felt, even though we had just came from a table)...
