End the week in style at Hawksmoor Dublin, a sophisticated steak restaurant with a stunning Sunday Roast.

Best known as a steak and seafood restaurant, Hawksmoor Dublin have honed and tweaked their Sunday Roast to perfection, part-cooked over charcoal and served with all the trimmings – beef dripping roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, greens, roasted shallots & garlic and lashings of bone marrow and onion gravy.

The interior has a regal grandeur that will take you back in time, though the low lighting and leather upholstery are thoroughly modern.

Located in Dublin City Centre, Hawksmoor is ideally placed near many of the popular attractions

The ribeye was incredibly tender and packed with flavour. The beef dripping fries were nice and crispy, while the mash and gravy were comforting and delicious. The buttered cabbage was great. To top it off, the cocktails were expertly crafted and refreshing. Every dish was perfectly executed. Could easily get one sauce between two people. The cost of the meal does add up quite quickly however.

Me and the Mrs recently celebrated our anniversary dinner at Hawksmoor, and it was nothing short of amazing. The ambient and cozy interior immediately set the tone for a special evening. The food was fantastic—steak and fries were our choice, and everything was cooked to perfection. The bearnaise sauce was absolutely on point, and the Mrs declared the fries “the best” she’s ever had! We had noted the occasion in our booking but didn’t expect anything extra. To our delight, the staff surprised us with a lovely dessert to help us mark the day. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our celebration even more memorable. All in all, I highly recommend Hawksmoor to anyone looking for a great dining experience. And to the Hawksmoor staff—thank you so much for going above and beyond to make our anniversary so special!

Excellent Sunday roast. Highly recommend giving it a go. This is my first ever Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint. Everything down to the veg was full of flavour, beef cooked perfectly, yorkies were huge, spuds were crispy and better than I've had elsewhere. Left feeling full but not absolutely stuffed. The roast is priced well at €25 considering the location and quality of the ingredients. The stuffing portion is extra, big enough for 2 people, full of lovely sausage meat and good enough to justify the €8.50 price point. Guinness was ok, €8 is on the high side. Our waiter Dan was a top guy, wine was delicious (I just had a taste). No desserts or coffees for us, but I've been for the desserts/steaks before and everything is beyond impressive. Seating and atmosphere is comfortable, well spaced. We were to be a little later than expected, rang ahead to tell them, wasn't made an issue which is always nice, top marks to all involved, 10/10.
