Bastible’s succulent Sunday Lunches are the stuff of legend in Dublin.
The menus changed seasonally so expect hearty, wholesome yet refined dishes in winter with light and airy delicacies in summer. They use the best of local Irish producers to craft award-worthy dishes along Leonard’s Corner in Dublin 8.
For the table, a range of freshly-baked breads (sourdough that has been fermented for 48 hours) and cultured butters are served alongside celeriac, beef tartare, samphire tempura and a spiced pistachio dip with crudities, followed by a delectable appetiser of pheasant and heritage carrots. The main course is guaranteed to be a tender piece of meat such as featherblade of beef with roasties, winter greens and field mushroom, followed up by a warm chocolate cake and the option of cheeses and chutneys after.
