5.0a week agoMy friends and I travelled from Scotland to London for a girls trip this weekend - we were looking for a nice place near the hotel where we could have bottomless brunch, and we came across Megan’s. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It was truly fabulous. Both Clem & Eugene were lovely and made sure our glasses were always topped up. The food & coffee was excellent - overall the value for money was incredible! This will be our go to next time we visit, for sure! Thank you so much. Lyndsay, Mia & Samantha x

4.0a month agoI was really excited to see a Megan’s here after having a great experience at another location. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet expectations. As a big fan of smashed avocado on toast, I was disappointed it wasn’t fully smashed, lacked flavor, and some of the pomegranate seeds seemed past their best. I also ordered an Earl Grey tea, but it had no aroma or taste just hot, colored water. I asked the staff if it might have been the wrong tea, and the gentleman kindly confirmed it was Earl Grey (additionally I believe that a place like this should be serving loose leaf tea, not tea bags). He then brought me a new one, which I appreciated but unfortunately, it still tasted the same. The only highlight was the staff member’s effort and kindness, which was genuinely commendable.

5.0a month agoA lovely hidden gem with a holiday vibe! We stopped by for brunch/lunch and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious and super fresh — it felt like we’d been transported to the Mediterranean! I had the meze bowl, which was tasty but on the smaller side (note to the chef: just a tiny bit more, and you'd have a fan for life!). The sea bass was beautifully presented with healthy, vibrant sides — a real treat. I would like to suggest the inclusion of a shrimp burger and alfalfa sprouts on your menu.🫶🙏 The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with friendly guests and even friendlier staff. A special shout-out to the lady who served us — she introduced herself with such warmth and professionalism you'd think we were in a five-star resort. Alessandro, the manager, was equally impressive — friendly, funny, and great at making you feel at home. The decor is beautiful and relaxing — you honestly feel like you’re on holiday, even though you’re under a block of flats (which you totally forget once you're inside). There is plenty of street parking available, and the outdoor seating is lovely. I didn’t see any dogs, but if they were allowed, I suppose this would be one of the rare places I wouldn’t mind (and I say that as someone firmly in the "food first, dogs later" camp). The decor throughout the restaurant was charming and thoughtfully put together — but I have to say, and this is not something I ever thought I’d mention in a restaurant review — even the toilets were a highlight! They were surprisingly cosy and beautifully decorated, to the point that even a quick trip to the loo felt like part of the experience. It’s clear that every corner of this place has been designed with care and creativity. The only thing to keep in mind is that access to the toilet isn’t the easiest if you’re in a wheelchair due to stairs, but everything else was spot on. One small suggestion: it would be great if the staff dress code was just a touch more polished. Trainers are absolutely understandable, but sportswear like leggings or gym trousers can look a bit too casual in a food service setting. Something simple and tidy would make the already excellent service feel even more professional. See you soon!
