At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’. Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel Du Vin Cheltenham is situated just a short stroll from the town's fashionable shopping street, The Promenade, in the chic Montpellier district.

Just had a lovely one night stay. The room was a good size with all expected amenities, bed was comfy. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The Sunday lunch was excellent, the Yorkshire pudding nearly defeated me. Great selection for breakfast. Not one single thing I could complain about.

We're just back from a fantastic three night stay at the Hotel du Vin. Before we booked our room we checked the hotel had a lift as my husband has some health challenges and struggles with stairs. When we checked in, our room was on the lower ground floor which is only accessed by stairs. Ben on reception was fantastic and moved us to a beautiful room on the first floor close to the lift. He also helped us with our luggage. The staff were without exception wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and is much better than The Ivy in Cheltenham where we dined one evening. Top quality French style food. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance from Montpellier which has boutique shops, art galleries featuring local artists and great places to have lunch. Two beautiful parks are also very closeby. The hotel is on a quiet road and they have parking right in front of reception. Our room was huge with a double ended roll top bath in the room plus an enormous walk in shower in the large bathroom. Nespresso coffee machine, delicious French biscuits, towelling robes and slippers provided, luxury toiletries. We made the most of happy hour before dinner as they had great prices on champagne cocktails. We can't fault this hotel and we will be back!!

Very nice hotel With good blend of modern and period feel. Upgraded room was excellent with huge bathroom with roll top bath & walk in shower. Bed very comfortable. Great food in restaurant although service a little slow and no appreciation for wine service /times to match with meal courses. Overall would stay again.
