A modern-day meeting place & contemporary Inn, The Waterman provide a delicious Breakfast and Sunday Lunch menu.

The Waterman is just a short stroll across the beautiful Midsummer Common from central Cambridge. Providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect place for a catch-up with friends or family.

The Breakfast menu features hearty options such as The Waterman Breakfast (or The Gardeners' Breakfast as a veggie option!) as well as the classic egg dishes and lighter options like pastries.

On Sundays, the Sunday Lunch menu takes centre stage. Start off with the small plates while you browse the menu. The Sunday Roast options are served with all the trimmings, or if you fancy something different, there are plenty of other main dishes to choose from.

Lovely place, actually on the Big Bus Tour route so a great base for sightseeing! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and even got us a little surprise in our room as it was our anniversary! The room was cosy and functional, the shower was good and my wife loved the fact there was conditioner provided?! We didn’t get chance to eat there but had a few pints in the lovely pub garden in the evening and thought the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend!!

Really annoyed that we called up to check they weren’t taking bookings for football, and they said they weren’t and that we were welcome to come and see if there’s a table. Arrived 3 hrs before the football and the waitress was rude and said they’ve booked out everywhere for their friends and family. At least tell us that on the phone so we know not to make plans to come to you. The website says also not taking bookings too. Really disappointing as used to be a great place to watch sport.
