Just because it's an all round 4 does not make it a bad thing. Really felt looked after and enjoyed my meal. Had a locals feel despite a chain and felt relaxed and satisfied.

Place was very quiet so served straight away. Went to carvery counter to get our meal and was asked what meat I would like. I asked for 3 choices of meat and was horrified to only be given the corner of the meats. When I mentioned this the chef said we are only allowed to give you 160grams. The vegetables didn't look appetising at all. When I was stood looking at it I mentioned to my sister that it was really poor and chef said leave if you don't like it. I really wished I had as the meal was not good. Little meat rubbery Yorkshire and luke warm veg. I would never recommend this place and I wish I had complained and got my money back. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Had a table booked for Saturday 3pm 5 adults one child was seated quick and efficiently drinks order taken quickly tho took a time to arrive all in party having carvery the gentleman on carvery service I found rude and confrontational as the meal and the visit was to see family that we rarely see anyway my daughter asked for the lamb which was the end and asked for the new one which had already been started ( chef) was rude and said he needed to scrape the lamb from the dried up bone (chef) did begrudgingly serve the fresh lamb but the vegetables looked like they've spent a week under the heat lamp I than asked for fresh cauliflower cheese in which got told yeah in a few minutes!!! So wasn't happy with service
