The Priory is a charming country pub oozing rural charm and situated in the quiet village of Portbury.
With picturesque surroundings and rustic character, The Priory is the perfect backdrop to Sunday Lunch with family and friends. Dating back to 1822, it is known to many as a landmark for those travelling from Bristol & beyond. And as you step inside, you can see much of its old charm is still prevalent, with black and white pictures dotted around and original fireplaces still being used as features.
On Sundays, the Priory offers four different meat options on their roasts menu including pork loin and lamb shank, and they also have the option of making your Roast intro a trio of meats for two people. Honey & thyme roasted carrots are amongst the veggie trimmings and there's no judging on how much gravy you have your roast swimming in, as they promise to treat you to as much gravy as you like.
The Priory is located just off the M5 and is best accessed by car if travelling from afar.
