Although At The Well was formed first and foremost to be a launderette where people can spend their waiting time grabbing coffee or catching lunch, it is now well-known by much of Stokes Croft's hipster scene as a burgeoning brunch hot spot and and tasty cake destination, with live music regularly and a great sense of communal feel.

Started by three sisters, At The Well was envisioned as being a place where people could wash their laundry without the worry of leaving their machine thanks to the boredom of waiting, and instead could do something productive or catch up with friends. Since their launch. this cross-cultural brunch phenomenon has taken off, with many coming just to enjoy the good food and the kind smiles that are always seen on the staff and customers' faces.

Customers can enjoy anything from the homemade cakes and superfood granola, to their own special, 'Transatlantic pancakes', that are pretty darn famous around Stokes croft, and include American pancakes, scrambled eggs. buttery mushrooms,. streaky bacon and maple syrup. There are also plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy free options for those with stricter dietary requirements, so there really is something for everyone to enjoy.
