The Ivy’s first coastal site has found a home in a stunning grade II listed building in Brighton.

The interior mixes gorgeous Oriental bloom prints and a botanical theme with glamorous and sleek touches such as a marble topped bar and soft leather seating.

The menu is spearheaded by Executive Chef Sean Burbridge, who revamps traditional British dishes with an exotic, international twist.

Whet your appetite with a starter of asparagus with truffle hollandaise or a tuna carpaccio with watermelon and ponzu dressing Mains include an avocado and spinach benedict or, for a more decadent Brunch, the crab linguine with chilli and smoked garlic will do the trick. The weekday breakfast menu is equally wining: go light and healthy with a caramelised grapefruit or crushed avocado and pomegranate on toast, or fill up with buttermilk pancakes, eggs benedict, pastries or a huge Full English.

Have a stroll through the Lanes’ winding streets of independent shops before departing from Brighton Rail Station, just a 10-minute away.
