Easy to find a seat, even on a Friday evening. Place was very warm for midsummer—no fans in sight, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The barman seemed quite miserable… a smile wouldn’t hurt! Menus had quirky wording, which I absolutely loved. Food arrived hot, tasty, and portion sizes were just right. Peas were undercooked, but the steak was done exactly as requested. Gammon was lovely—not fatty—and the chips were great too. Drinks come in either small or large, which felt a bit odd. The music? Fabulous. A fun, nostalgic mix of oldies—none of the usual chart stuff, which was refreshing! Would visit again!

Comfy spot in the middle of town, variety of food to choose from and just order and pay from your phone. Outdoor sitting is nice in the late afternoon and not too noisy despite being next to a major roadway. Food itself was really nice and good portion-to-price size.
