This Birmingham coffee institution sits on the corner of Stephenson St. A roastery, coffee shop and event space- good things await inside Yorks Café.
Yorks roast their own coffee on site and you’re welcome to look at the roaster in the back of the store. With a daily espresso and filter option, a good, strong cup of coffee is guaranteed.
Visit for the coffee and stay for the Brunch. Served all day, seven days a week, the Breakfast/Brunch at Yorks includes healthy porridges, a classic house Breakfast, bacon sarnies and more experimental dishes. Try out the decadent fried chicken and bacon waffles- a butter waffle topped with crispy bacon and Cajun fried chicken, smothered in Canadian maple syrup and garlic chives. Or maybe opt for the Greek eggs- fried eggs on sourdough toast, drizzled with garlic tahini sauce and topped with pomegranate salsa and feta with herbs.
Yorks has a rustic atmosphere, with simple repurposed wooden décor complemented by exposed brickwork and street art that creates a perfect place to leisurely enjoy a coffee and a well-made Brunch. Split over two floors, Yorks on Stephenson Street is where the coffee is roasted, the cakes are baked and the menus created.
Yorks is just a short stroll away from Birmingham New Street Station.
