Toby Carvery - Burton

Came with a group from a care home today and they all had carvery with they all said was nice.........I ordered a gammon & Mustard Yorkie wrap, it was not nice, in fact I asked if it was done in a pan as loads of grease dripping from it, but they said it was done in an oven, and the mustard was very overpowering. I did eat it as I didn't have time for a replacement to be done due to the residents nearly finished. I will not order one again. The staff were great with the group and so polite. For the carvery I would recommend but the wrap was a disaster. Having spoken to the manager, he is aware they can come out greasy and he politely refunded the meal, even though I didn't expect it as I'd eaten it Very polite and professional

Not much variety, I'm gluten intolerant, the options were very limited on the day I visited. The allergy guide is easy to follow but the food I could eat was not displayed on the carvery that day. It could be there on premium days but not on a Friday afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. I downloaded the toby carvery app that day to receive a discount code.

Love the food!!! Wish they didn't serve up meat that was as thin as tracing paper and such a little amount. For the money we pay we deserve more. Some of the staff are lovely, smiley and friendly others though just seem like it's too much effort and we have been forgotten about before a few different occasions.
