I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was perfect—warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Luke, who made our evening even more enjoyable with his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and fantastic service!

This is quite a unique restaurant with quirky but attractive interiors - gives you that forest feel with the waterfall and lake screens - nice touch. Was excited to try the food here but was left disappointed - I’m thinking I just chose wrong! My husband ordered the fried quail and this was lovely - great sides and the mac n cheese I ordered was super delicious. The venison steak I ordered was perhaps the worst I’ve had - a lot of meat which was great but didn’t quite come out as the medium rare I ordered - slightly overdone and bitter. The side vegetables were cooked well but the hasselback potatoes were awful. The accompanied sauce with the venison I can hand on heart say it’s the worse sauce to ever be created. Chocolate or raspberry or whatever - this is not something to serve with red meat at all! Wise to put this sauce is a bowl. Overall not a great meal and for the price - astonishing. I would advise the restaurant to remove the sauce as I can see on other reviews that is not a big hit. We came in quite late Saturday evening and there was probably around 2 other occupied tables - shame really because the staff were lovely but the food just does not compete with others in the mailbox I’m afraid and the prices are just too expensive for what you get. It’s a shame.

This was our second visit to At the Woods. We had been previously for my birthday in April and knew we needed to come back. This time we had the duck and venison steak. Both were cooked to perfection and just melted in our mouths. The atmosphere is always very relaxed and Irika was an excellent waitress. We will definitely be coming back as still more items for us to try on the menu.
