5.0a month agoStopped by for Saturday lunch, great service from our waiter and promptly seated to our table. Options for halal steak (rump) was available; it’s worth booking a table in advance and requesting to avoid disappointment. I personally would recommend the truffle dauphinoise and tenderstem broccoli for sides. The mille-feuille dessert was a 10/10 for me, great way to finish off the meal and so fresh/fruity.

5.02 months agoAbsolutely beautiful food from this little hidden gem. We went at lunch time which highly recommend. Our server Pavel was so attentive. He explained the different steaks, recommended cocktails which were delish. The starter was gorgeous and plentiful. We shared the Chateaubriand. wow just wow best steak we've ever had. We will definitely be back 😊

2.0in the last weekThe interior is lovely with a calming atmosphere, and the truffled burrata was excellent — the other starters were also enjoyable. For halal diners, note that only the three ribeye dishes are halal. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We waited over 10 minutes at the entrance with no staff in sight, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. We had to call the restaurant just to be seated. Service was slow, orders were mixed up (and there was hardly any other diners), and the ribeye arrived lukewarm and undercooked (medium rare instead of medium). My cup had still water, and the waiter topped it with sparkling without asking. These are mistakes you’d expect from a small, inexperienced place — not from somewhere like Gaucho. A real letdown given their reputation.
