Brunch your way around the Meditteranean at Café Reem. Proudly run by a Palestinian family, Café Reem is an introduction to the flavours of the Middle East.

Café Reem is a small and homely café, but don't let that fool you into thinking that there isn't much on offer food-wise. Owner Reem is on a mission to deliver the most authentic, flavoursome Mediterranean food to Birmingham. And her menu delivers: there is a seemingly endless list of colourful, fresh food made with extraordinary herbs and spices that is just tantalising.

If you're tired of avocado on toast, this Brunch menu will be a welcome relief.  Egg fans will enjoy the Shakshuka, a Scrambled Egg Pitta and the O'Jah, a Palestinian omelette served with fresh parsley and onions. The Baked Feta is a vegetarians dream- served with pitta bread and topped with tomato, cucumber, olives, sumac and extra virgin olive oil.

Café Reem's take on Brunch includes a Manakish section. Popular in the Levant region, Manakish are savoury dough pastries that can be served with a variety of delicious toppings. We like the sound of the Harissa and Labna Man'ousha- a Meditteranean soft cheese served on savoury pastry, topped with hot homemade chili and extra virgin olive oil.
