Back To All Bath Venues

Bath was founded by the Romans in the 1st century AD who used Bath’s natural hot springs as a thermal spa. The Romans built a complex of baths and a temple which were major features of Roman life in the city which attracted visitors from across the Roman Empire.

Today, Bath is still known for its Roman Bath Complex, one of the most significant and well-preserved Roman sites in the world: its stunning Georgian architecture makes Bath a popular tourist destination. The city’s architectural and historical significance awarded the city as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

The restaurant scene is diverse and vibrant, offering a wide range of culinary experiences to residents and visitors alike. The city boasts casual diners and cosy cafes, fine dining restaurants and a wide selection of international cuisines and food markets.
