Bizarre and Annoying Experience at Tetto My recent visit to Tetto was one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had. What started as a rooftop dinner quickly devolved into a series of odd interruptions that completely ruined the evening. First, and most bizarrely, a man came up to our table, uninvited, to take photos of us while we were in the middle of a conversation. He directed us to pose and took about 10 photos, then returned a few minutes later trying to sell the photos to us. It was a completely random and unwelcome interruption, and the fact that the restaurant seems to allow this is baffling. We also saw another person walking around selling Italian ice, which made the whole place feel less like a restaurant and more like a carnival. On top of that, the atmosphere was chaotic. For a Sunday dinner, the place was extremely loud with a DJ and a smoke machine. This wasn't mentioned anywhere online and made it difficult to even have a conversation. The service was also incredibly slow; it took a full 30 minutes just to get a glass of water after we were seated. Asked for a server just to have our own server tell us our server will be right with us, then came back herself later. Felt like I was an annoyance the entire time to the entire staff. They should switch to self ordering and checkout to avoid this entire mess. Place also has automatic 20% gratuity built in that no one calls out. The food was also extremely mediocre. My soda was flat when it came out. Overall, the entire experience was just weird and annoying. I’ve never even seen this happen at any establishment, abroad or domestic. Honestly terrible and ruined what was supposed to be a nice meal. The unprofessional atmosphere and constant interruptions made it impossible to enjoy our time. I definitely will not be returning.

The staff was nice the food options were weird but the pizza was oddly okay. The pizza also seem to have lunch meat in it the claimed to be a special meat from Italy . The drinks (I had a Long Island) are good but $15 for one and shots are $15 I attach a photo of the glass size for the Long Island and the amount of liquor for the shot . Also the music is very odd kinda disco with old school mixed in but not in a good way. Still a beautiful view of the city. The rice balls come in threes and they are so good .

Tetto Chicago is a vibrant rooftop venue in the West Loop, offering a blend of Italian-inspired cuisine, inventive cocktails, and stunning city views. 8,000-square-foot rooftop space that transforms into a lively social hub, especially during the summer months. The culinary offerings at Tetto are curated by Professor Pizza, a renowned brand known for its innovative takes on classic pizza styles. My favorite is Humboldt Pie, a creative combination of vodka sauce, pepperoni, pineapple, red onion, pickled jalapeño, and ranch dressing. Tetto's rooftop setting offers panoramic views of the Chicago skyline, creating a perfect backdrop for evening gatherings.
