They run a tight ship at Cast and Crew, a hidden gem in the Titanic Quarter with hearty Irish breakfasts and healthy dishes in equal measure.

There is a neighbourhood feel to the café, run by a small but attentive team in a cute eatery underneath the Samson and Goliath Cranes of Harland. Local entrepreneurs Niall and Joanne McKenna have steered a number of Belfast’s most cherished restaurants into the limelight, from James Street South’s opening twelve years ago to The Cookery School and Hadskis. They turned their attention to Cast & Crew, built near an old shipyard, in 2015 and have been wowing the community with their humble, unfussy breakfasts ever since.

Tuck into a huge ‘Ulster Fry’ complete with potato bread, soda bread and black & white puddings for a classic taste of Ireland, or go smaller with smoked salmon, avocado and poached eggs on toast for just £3.50.

Titanic Quarter Rail Station is just a short walk away.
